Weird Suzuki bolt!
« on: December 27, 2011, 08:31:57 PM »
Just been dissasembling my son's GSXR250 and the rear engine bolt had me buffaloed, no matter which open ender I used it would fit once but not the second turn?
It wasn't until I got the damn thing out that I realised that Suzuki had machined the face off of one side, this is to allow it to pass so close to the frame upon removal that a standard bolt head would jam.
Weird huh! ;)
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
