Looks like you have access to machined parts, if not I can help. The Brake junction would be easy to make with a mill, but could be done with just a drill press if you are handy. Just think a piece of 1/2 or 5/8 aluminum plate two holes drilled 90 deg apart at the bottom drill the small holes in till they intersect. Tap the start of the hole to 1/4NPT.. then drill a 3rd hole from above to meet the first two, at the point where they meet,all the holes are tapped to 1/4 npt... the trim the block.. save buying expensive fittings.
Is the oil tank stainless? Aluminum would look cooler, if you can get the wedling done, I can supply bungs and filler cap if you cant get them. a good way to mount tank is to weld in 1/4NC blind bungs, then use those rubber mounts with the 1/4 inch studs on each side that H-D used for years.
Re the hammerforming, if you have not done it, and you slit the corners then weld back up, that would speed up forming the edge and avoid having to shrink the corners.
