Wait, so I can set up a website and get people to "back" my ideas by sending me $1? Then for a $39 "backing" you get the system (if goal is reached) minus....the horn. I like the idea, and the product but all of a sudden it seems like a pain in the balls. Almost a scam. I will check ebay.

He is going to sell the complete unit for $89. The $39 is for just the module without the airhorn. $69 will get you the entire unit.  If the goal is not met, you are not charged anything. But two units and you save even more.  If you like the idea, but don't want a unit, you can pledge any amount $1 to $? as a backer. Kickstarter is a very legit site.

I like the idea, but I don't like the execution.  If I need to honk the horn to keep someone from running over or pulling out in front of me, I can't afford to wait half a second for the full-blast horn to come on.  That's why I've always changed out the stock horns on all of my bikes with super loud, dual note horns that sound like a truck.  If I'm going to honk, even if it's just a quick tap, I'm doing it because I want the person in front of or beside me to hear it.  I suppose if there were ample room to fit both the stock and aftermarket horns on my bikes, I would consider using a separate button for the stock horn for those rare times when I might just want to give a high-pitched beep, but there isn't that kind of space on my bikes, so I stick with just the super-loud horns.

I do like the addition of the flashing high beams, though.  I know this would make it a more expensive proposition, but it would be great if this could be coupled with a pressure-sensitive horn button.  Pushing the button lightly would trigger a polite beep, while pushing the button hard like you would in a panic situation would trigger the full-force honk and light flash without the delay.

i like your idea of a pressure sensitive button.....makes sense to me. But I think that since this unit is for any type of bike, it would be impracticable to do that and it would mean replacing your horn button. He wanted his unit to adapt to any bike without any real modification.

if your going to sound your horn youll want it to be loud anyway, you can hook a relay to the high beam/horn your self,im not keen on the delay, things happen fast when you dont expect them.
