They still are using a sheet of plywood to cover the hole. I kinda figured drywall was used to meet code but just one sheet? Even if a fire were to brake out on my side, it'll burn through the studs. Albeit, drywall is only fire resistant to and extent but at least cover both sides of the studs. It's doesn't do the drywall a lot of good when the stud burns away first. I expect it's just enough to meet the bare minimum standards.
I'm just trying to ride out my lease until August and hopefully by then I can find my own place. I'm freaking tired of leasing apartments. I want my own garage, damnit!
Good news is, I did get my settlement. It was just a little over what I claimed. I now have recovered nearly 90% of my tools.
