Hello everyone. I am somewhat new to the 2 wheel scene. I am picking up my new found love shortly (pics to come!). I plan on a complete going through of a S90. I have yet to see it in person, saw a few pics, but for the price and with a spare engine the condition doesn't seem relevant. I am planning on doing all of the work myself aside from a possible rebore or hone of the cylinder wall. I have your average DIY skills so I will be keeping everything stock and plan to DD the little beast in spring when the salt clears and the weather permits...and if it has enough power to propel itself out of potentially harmful situations. I look forward to learning about this particular model and Honda motorcycles in general. I also anticipate working, talking and meeting with fellow enthusiasts. I have been mostly involved with cars over the years. But with ever increasing gas prices I wanted to find a 'cycle and I have a soft-spot for vintage or classic rides. I have always been partial to Hondi (fun plural?) because it was what I learned to ride on. I'm not sure what exact model it was beyond a 70's 125cc road bike fit with some knobby tires. After getting the you must have the green light lit up to be in neutral thing down pat, it all came naturally and I had some of the best times of my life. But I wasn't the owner and haven't ridden on two wheels since the bike was sold. Here I am about 15 years later about to finally fulfill a dream. I cannot stand seeing vintage autos/motos being scrapped or parted out and the chance to save a life means a lot to me. After this restoration I'd like to pick up an older CB or CL to go through. There seems to be many good choices out there, but I plan on weeding through most of them to find something that suites my person. Thanks for reading folks.
