Mine had the kicker, also had mag wheels..  I ran it in the 1/8 mile at Sturgis one year, was getting the front end up shifting to 3rd...

They started to disappear in the early eighties right?  I think it's because everybody born after about 1964 is a pussy and the bike manufacturers knew it.  ;);D

Being born 29 years after that, I would dissagree. ONLY MOST people born after that year are pussys. ;D

Yeah most of em are. If your bike ain't a SOHC 4, your probably a pussy.
All the kids our age don't even know what the hell a SOHC 4 means.

True that all my friends would rather buy a new bike that they would take the dealer to change the oil. They wouldn't understand what overhead cam even means haha
That's the #$%*ty part about rich kids in southern cali. Bunch of cocky pricks

I got a XL350 with a 412 big bore kit running 10.5:1 compression.  Kicking can be an adventure at times, I wish it had an electric start.

I Love having my kicker on the bike, sure helps when the battery is a little low,and it is a bit quicker for my tastes in case I stall it out at a light.

I can relate to that, I had a Yamaha XT500 back in the 1980's, it was a fantastic bike, but kick starting it (particularly at night time) was an aquired skill, even with the decompresser. I would have been happy with an electric starter, for sure. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

So just to be sure I understood you correctly - reach out and unfold the kicker with right foot, stand on left foot, kick the engine through, reposition ass and ride away. And you say that's quicker than moving your right thumb one inch and pressing a button? If you say so...
