F2 Connecting rod bolts- PICS
« on: December 29, 2011, 05:23:39 PM »
I've done a fair amount of searching on this forum regaurding improving stock rods and never came across any pictures of what makes the F2 rod bolts different. Here's a pic of a stock K4 bolt next to a F2 bolt just in case people would like to see the difference. The F2 bolt also seems to be a .001" interference fit in the rod.

Part numbers are: Bolt  13213-KV0-000
                              Nut  13214-410-003

Cost was $90 CDN

You know you've achieved perfection in design, not when you have nothing more to add, but when you have nothing left to take away.

I did it a long time ago with pics of the rods, bolts etc. Thanks for pointing out the difference again. I have also used those bolts/nuts in OEM 550 rods. I sell the bolts and nuts at a great discount too.

Mike, Do you know if the -410- rods themselves are any beefier or stronger?
