Online gallery for CB350F lovers
« on: May 09, 2006, 08:21:04 AM »
I've just set up an online gallery for my own personal use but I thought it might be nice to include a gallery where SOHC4 forum members who own or have an interest in the tiddler of the SOHC4 bikes, the CB350F can post pics of their bikes, themselves riding the bikes or any other CB350F related pic (clean images only please!). Close up photos of parts of the bike may be good to add as they may help people who are restoring a CB350F.

Here's the link:

http://gallery.loonymoon.org.uk/thumbnails.php?album=5

It's very new so obviously there won't be much there at the moment, but to start with I've enabled guests to be able to upload pics with total guest quota of 2MB so please keep file sizes down. I would ultimately like users to register on the site and then they will have more upload quota and they will be able to leave ratings, comments and also send ecards of any of the photos that take their fancy.

All images will be vetted before approval to the site.

I'm giving this CB350F gallery a trial run to see how it goes and how much interest there is.

I'm glad to see that... there isn't a whole lot of info out there on the mighty 350. I'd love to put some pics of my '73 350f up there, but it's in pieces right now as a summer project. When it's done, I'll put some up... later, pat

Well I'm glad there's some interest already. Might be nice to see some before and after pics Pat. It's not just for pristine examples!

Just to warn - I'm the only administrator so if it takes a while for the photos to be approved don't feel hurt as I'm very busy at the moment trying to write a PhD thesis!

I've uploaded a couple of photos into the SOHC gallery to get you all started. I also have a gallery there called Loonymoons CB350F so once you guys get some into the SOHC4 gallery I'll move mine back out to the oher gallery.

Thanks to whoever just uploaded some photos to the site... not sure who you were!!

I've had to stop people being able to upload as a guest - sorry! I can see it wil make administration difficult. It's pretty easy to register - hey you can probably use the same info you use for this website!!

Done, I put two pics in the gallery today showing the "before" stage of what I hope will become a pretty nice bike over the summer... Thanks for creating that site...

Just curious, why not use the new SOHC Gallery?  ??? Personally, I really like the looks of the 350-4, just not a good fit for me.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

I'm not trying to discourage people from using the new SOHC4 gallery (which I just looked at and it looks good).

I've changed the name of my gallery to "CB350F enthusiasts gallery" to ensure people don't think it's actually an official part of this forum. I just thought it'd be nice for the CB350F to have a dedicated site that's all. Hopefully any pics that people put up there will help others restoring bikes or who are interested in the little SOHC4 and haven't yet found the forum.

Thanks to those who have uploaded files already.

That CB350F of yours is looking good already Jane - even if it is just a frame engine and front wheel so far!!   :) I expect it'll make mine look like a rat-bike when it's finished!

Just a reminder that if you do post please remember to include your name in the title of the pic after you upload it - as otherwise it's not clear which bike's which!

There must be more than 4 350 Four owners on here. Be bold guys and post your pics in loonymoon's gallery. It has the potential to be a great online resource for us without having to plough through all the bigger bikes in the gallery here.

Of course I second that!!

Have you seen the pics of Wills bike with the hardcases and screen? .... A proper touring 350F that one!!

I'm hoping that people will upload some action shots too ;D. Perhaps when there's enough pics I can sort them into folders like "restoration pics" with befores and afters, "general bike photos", "action shots" and "close ups".
