I feel a bad for Chris V.
and Hopkins. Suzuki just can't get a GP bike together. Looking at their success in other classes, it's hard to understand. Put those guys on Hondas and they'd be up front every week.
Nicky is a great guy and I really root for him, but I think this is Rossi's year again. If it comes down to the last race at Valencia and it's a winner-take-all race, barring an unforseen wreck or mechanical trouble, there's no way I think Hayden would beat him heads up. There's just too much experience, cunning, and Italian mojo at work.
Hayden has upped his game again this year and is consistently a top 5 guy. Good job, but I'd rather he not win the championship this year because all the other big names missed several races with injuries or mechanical diffuculties. It would be a win by default, and the European press would make sure we all know it. He's learning a lot and I hope next year he can take it up another notch and really mix it up with a healthy Rossi, Giberneau, Caparossi, etc...
