The 5/10 mile test ride turned into 20 or so as Blue ran so well I kept on going.  If I had been dressed more appropriately I would have kept on for another hour or so.  Quite happy with the purchase.  When I get the title back from Harrisburg I plan to resell-hopefully for a tidy profit.  I turned down 2000, thinking more like 3k.  Not sure having the replacement motor, chrome h/l and aftermarket exhaust will justify that though...Larry

What year is the frame Larry? A K0 guy would love it if it was an early 1969 frame and cosmetics, but not having the original engine and HM300 pipes seriously affects it's value. $3K is not unreasonable, but $2000-$2500 for what a K0 collector would consider a "rolling chassis" is probably more achievable. Terry, thanks for the input.  Frame is a 70.  I have a set of very good condition 341 pipes but they are earmarked for another project I have stored away.  Maybe the 2K offer was not all that far off, as it is quick, local and cash.  I might try Ebay first, but I think the fees are about 150. Thanks again...Larry

Nice job as always Larry.  I bet you can get close to $3K for the Blue. 
Terry, some folks here on the east coast of the states are paying stupid money for these old motorbikes.  The guys in the know won't, but come next spring the unwashed masses will be chomping at the bit for a classic Honda.  He'll get it. 

That being said, Larry you have first rights of refusal on my pile of K7 parts.  As I said, it all there and then some. I had already started buying items to rebuild it as an 836.  It all goes, plus the title.  Let me know if you're interested.

Another test ride on the Blue KO, started out to be a short 20 mile ride but wound up being 60.   Bike performed flawlessly. To sell or not to sell, that is the question :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\...Larry

Fortunately money is not a problem.  I already have the Red Rider(a 75) and two other 750s waiting to be brought  back to life.  For me, the fun part is the process of resto/rebuild. After the work is done I sell to someone who will hopefully appreciate the bike but this 750 runs particularly well which has me thinking of keeping it. One can only ride one bike at a time.   I have a 1981 Silverwing that is my daily commuter...Larry

If it had the ears and headlight bucket.   But someone took the originals off and replaced with chrome ears and a latter shell  >:( :(.  That is the reason the PO sold me the bike-it came from a friend of his in the Great Lake area who kind of neglected to tell him the motor, headlight and exhaust weren't original. The person I got it from was so disappointed, and needed the room, he sold to me...Larry

Well you could sell it to me Larry, once I've sold my CX500 I'll have some more room, and I've got a K0 engine, headlight shell, headlight brackets, airbox etc, and I'll need a good engine for my (soon to be returned) K6 project. Keep riding it for the time being mate, but if it's up for grabs in a couple of months we'll need to talk......... ;D

Well I sold the 1970 K0 today so the Blues Brother is gone.  I got a low mileage 1966 Suzuki 150cc twin 2smoker in original condition and $1900 for the K0.  I have been around bikes since 1967 or so and have never seen a Suzuki similar to the one I got.   I will take some photos tomorrow and post them up...Larry
