Damn I am 61 and I noticed I was the only one that so far is in there.

The only thing with getting older is you learn to work smarter instead of harder...hehe

Well I'm older, but not necessarily wiser.......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thats true about working smarter , I'm 60 and have learned and honed many a TRICK to get the job done. I'm now Injured RETIRED from Aircraft work of over 40 years and in that many years I've used many tricks of the trade and even come up with some of my own.

When you compare the results so far with the age distribution of the U.S. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Uspop.svg) there's a pretty clear bias toward the older age groups.  Not surprising, of course, but interesting to put it in perspective.

Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore people on the forum from outside the U.S.  I'm from outside the U.S., myself.  But my understanding is that the age distributions of all the anglo-sphere countries are similar, so the chart is probably representative of where most of us live.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

It makes sense since those of you now in your mid 50's were in your late teens to mid 20's when these bikes were new, and you either had one back then, or wanted one but couldn't afford it, or you still have the same one you bought back then.
