Roomey Mara rides an old Honda cafe bike in The girl with the dragon tatoo.  What bike is it?

Its a CL 350 scrambler I saw that movie yesterday to get glimspes of the bike and it ended up turning out to be one of the best movies I have seen. Very dark and different. yet great plot and your on your toes throughout the movie.

I thought is was an SL350 but it sounded too throaty.  The scene of her chasing the car in the cold was fantastic.  You could feel the wind and the blowing snow.

I thought the super-moto she rode in the original film fit the character better.  Get ready for the prices on old honda's to go up again, not to mention the extra hipster douche bags that will be ruining them.  I will say the shop did build some nice bikes.  Love the tires.

Thanks,
Billy

I read he books and saw the Swedish movies and the New American version. The new movie is better produced than the Swedish. It looked like the tires were offroad types.

You may be right. It seems to work better for me in the reverse. I read the book and see a movie. I liked to first book, he kicks it up a notch in the second, but to understand the the book 2 you need to know book one. Stick with it there are changes in the movie.
