The Brian Williams (bear) fund currently stands at £1561.45p. (23-1-12)
To help boost this fund, I am offering a signed photograph of the late, great Mike Hailwood jumping the factory Honda 6 over Balaugh Bridge during the Isle of Mann TT race. size of picture is A4.

This is an auction with a difference. the starting bid is £13.50 and each higher bid is just 1pence. (100 pence = £1) so the first person to bid £13.51 gets the cheapest copy (that's right, I have lots of copies) ;D

Make your bid here then PM your home address to me to assure your copy at that price.
I will then send the paypal details and on receipt of your money, will email you that your photo is reserved.

I will let the auction run until the end of January, then post all pictures to you.
You will be delighted with the picture (don't forget it is signed by the great man himself) but please don't ask to see it as I don't know if there is copy right on this picture.

Billy Benton (bellcow45) has a copy and will confirm that it is a truly great picture.

All profits go to help Brian, £1,000 has already been forwarded.

Happy New Year and Happy bidding.

Sam. ;)

I  just trolled through 50 odd pages of pictures on Google images and could not find the same picture, perhaps it is a private photograph.
It is similar to this painting by Rod Organ called flying Mike, it's about 3/4 the way down this page.

DAMN METRIC SYSTEM  >:(

Turn the boost down young Jonny before you blow a head gasket.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Both systems are metric. 100cents=$1  100pence=£1,  both look metric to me. ::)
It was our old system where 12 pennies made 1 shilling and 20 shillings made £1, that was not metric.  ;) I don't miss it one bit, 240 pennies in you pocket weighed a ton (not a metric ton ;D ) and bought you bugger all. (although some would dissagree )

Regards to the Gage Family, happy New year Jon.

Wait, I'm confused. So now all I need to do is outbid Tintop by a total of £20.01 to win a picture?

If so, take my money. If not, correct me and take my money  ;D

Change the title a bit Sam it was hard to find this again (needs to mention Brian's support or something about what it's for)

I'll bid 25$ can. for one, I'll double it if like the new title!

That's a pretty incredible gesture, mate.
