Wiring inside headlight

I have a '71 CB500 K1

Do all the models/years have a spaghetti rats nest of wiring and bullet connectors inside the headlight?

Or was there a conversion to connectors in latter years?

I have 2 - 72' and a 75....all spaghetti...you would think that could be simplified a little bit..

77 -78 they switched to a multi=pin connector but it's still a rats nest
