Hello Folks!
« on: January 03, 2012, 03:58:47 PM »
Hello Folks!  I just got a '78 CB750F project bike which brings me here!  It looks like there is a ton of good info.

This is my 2012 project, which I'm going to build into a racer.  It has sat since the 80s and has a stuck motor, but it's mostly complete.  It needs a ton of work and even more clean-up, but it will be fun.  It's a rat bag, but it's my rat bag!

Welcome from North Carolina ;) A lot of good people and info here to help you with your 2012 project. Keep us informed with your progress with plenty of pics. We love pictures ;D
A little history on where and how you found the 750F. If it was mine the Windjammer and the bags would have to go.

Ha!  The fairing and bags parted company with the bike within an hour of rolling it off the trailer.

I found the bike on craigslist for short $$.  The seller happened to be the same guy I purchased my GL1100I from last year (2011 project.)

Nice projects.
Ya weird how the 750 and Wings are addictive.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
