I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I have ridden SOHC 4's over the Paekakariki hill back in the day, 750 and 400 versions, also had the misfortune to ride a GT550 over there once  :o
like you I had the most fun on 2 strokes but the SR500 I owned came close  ;D

My favourite memory of the Paekakariki hill is heading up from the Northern side me on a Suzi T350 and my mate on his Kwaka 500, half way up we see about 20 british bike riders at the lookout above us so of course we have to give it a fistfull and greet them in a wheel stand.
Bad call, 20 trainee cops from Porirua Police college out for riding instruction on their Triumph Tigress's, good job they were laughing too much to bother hassling us, boy did we feel dumb! :-[ ;D
