These were very smooth working carbs until I did them in. Was sick of a pile of smart ass yamaha owners. I think I will shred all yamahas when they come in. I will in the future charge people to take them away. These owners are smart ass know it alls. I HATE YAMAHA OWNERS.

It's official...E.C. has lost his mind!  ;)

Dude...you should take some of the money that you'll make overcharging Yammy owners and see a Therapist....I'm thinking something along the lines of some anger management...

Anger management comes in the realm of a gun out in the open so I cant hurt someone  :P

I STILL HATE YAMAHA OWNERS AND THAT IS OFFICIAL, but the therapist could hook me up with killer drugs  :P

Thanks fer sharing, Cheapo ;D I usually just hurl the offending parts at the ground several times, but the pipe wrench looks sooooooooo much more satisfying.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

OMG It is unbelievable how satisfying it is to smash it with a pipe wrench. I was looking for my 20LB sledge but could not find it.  ;) They might have been flat on the sledge run  8)

ElCheapo, What the heck were you thinking? You could have received a work related injury!

...or was that during your down time?

Let's see,
I have many Honda's but I also have 5-10 yamaha's
so does that make me half-arshed?

If I come over to anyones place,,, I will behave.......... ;) I only smash my own stuff.

It was a long time coming. It was not the result from just one or two events, but hundreds.

Anyway... Now I feel better  ;D  8)

In general I find most (not all) Yamaha owners are mean, condecending, unruly, impatient, generally-unhappy, and last but not least smart ass know it all's. Just a pain in the ass. In the smart ass know it all thing I mean it is akin to a the fat flabby guy giving the Star Quarterback of a major team physical conditioning cues.  ::)

I figure if they are generally unhappy with the parts availability and the durability of thier brand they should find another brand to ride and maybe, just maybe they will be happier for it. Or maybe it is not the bikes fault at all. Certain types of people gravitate to certain brands of vehicle. Just look at the big 3 auto makers and the guys who own thier trucks. There are some similarities in thier owners.

ON THE OTHER EXTREME:
I met up with the "Backroads Honda Express Riders" yesterday. This is a group of retiries (ages 50+) that ride these old Honda Express's on the back roads all over our area. With that tiny moped (bike), 30-35 MPH, public courtesy, and general good attitude they have a ridership that is 200 riders. They ride in small packs so it makes it easy for other traffic to pass. If it appears that you are having trouble passing them they will do thier best to ease this. They were a funny bunch. They said the worst problem they have is running into each other during manuvers ;D. Now many of these guys ride bigger bikes, but they ride these in groups for commeradere and are glad to do so.

You meet the nicest people on a Honda......

No I am not going to go get a Honda Express  ;)

Honda owners (riders) are more like a Golden Retriever.....Oooo, shiny parts...my favorite. Oooo, semi-shiny parts...my favorite. Oooo, new parts...my favorite. Not that we are mindless "everything is my favorite", we are just usually NICE guys who want to ride. I think I will take a new view, if I am arguing with anyone...customer, my wife, fellow riders....then I need to ride more. Really when the hot syte fight comes along, if I go click off 100 miles things will be better.  ;D

That is the first time in probably 15 years I have totally lost it that way. Normally I just yell and swear  ;) It was therapeutic though. Not a whole lot can piss me off today, I used it all up already  :D

I'll have to add this video to the "A Day in the Life of...." thread when I get all the goods together.

The shop will be a reality in the next few weeks (FINALLY). Just got the house Re-Fied and have 20K to put in the biz.  ;D ;D

I revamped the video with music and included all the slams as well as the wife chime in.

Fitting music though, Pantera "Walk"  >:( ;D Fits the mood. I have sliced it all up and put it to the beat of Pantera "Domination", but man that is a lot of swinging  ;D. Would make anyone tired just watching it. LOL

I really don't care what this does for the public image of Anubis Cycle..... I wanted to come off as a take no prisoners kind of guy.. I think I did.. ::)

As I looked at the video closer there are sparks!! LIKE, DAMN COOL!!  ;D Wish we had a devil emoticicon, I think I would use it frequently.

Here is the NEW video special for the Home video  ;D

I think that would make me more likely to buy something from you! ;D  I've very nearly done the same thing to parts that I need for my bikes to actually run, so it's cathartic to at least watch somebody else doing it.  Sort of like that scene in "Office Space" where they take that fax machine out to a field and beat the living #$%* out of it gangsta style!

Funny thing is all the watchers took a hike in less than 4 minutes after I did that and posted the video  ;D

See what happens Tom ::)? I knew you should have gotten together with Dusterdude and made arrangements to come out here for the Northern California SOHC4 Meet and Greet 2006 ;) :D. Sure, it isn't until June 16th but the planning alone would have been calming. ;D And, to top it off, you would have been hanging out with a bunch of other cool Honda riders in the California Sun!!! What more could you ask for?

Brother I have had those moments with CV carbs....

Did the Carbs on my goldwing three times and this was after the shop did them twice and told me to never bring it back.

Course I kicked a hole thru the paneling of my shop wall putting the cylinders back on my 750 cases so it happens.

Good luck with your business.

Well Tom, I think it's good to be oneself and all that, but I think you should separate business and private life. We have talked about this before. I'm not the one that like to be flattered when I do business, but I don't like the kind of people that serve you like if they are doing you a favour. When I exchange my money for parts I want to get what I want. Wise advice from the salesperson is always appreciated, but I don't appreciate forgiving looks. I like the people that care about the customers regardless of the amount of money they make with them.
