I just looked it up:

Is a historical registration different from a standard registration?
Yes. You cannot use a historical vehicle for daily transportation.  An automobile collector normally registers a historical vehicle or a vintage vehicle to use it for exhibits, club activities, tours, and parades.

I use my bike for daily transportation.  This would be like feeding candy to a kid with the local Officers of the Law. I'll have to stick with the standard registration.

Historical registration is very popular with Muscle car guys. If your vehicle is over 25 years old you can use a license plate from that year, you register it with that plate #. It must it must also have a registration sticker from the same year on the plate. You will of course need a current inspection sticker. i ahve a plate and if I can peel off all the layers of stickers without damaging the 1978 I am in. I can also buy a reproduction sticker but they charge a lot.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?
