MODS PLEASE DELETE
« on: January 12, 2012, 07:49:43 AM »
I was on the SOOC site and they have a nice registry... DO we have one here? If not, I think it would be cool to see how close some of our bikes are to one another from all over the world. I am not to savvy with excel or any other Word program but thought I would through it out there...

We could do , build date, frame vin and engine vin for each model. I thought I saw something like this before but can not locate it now.

If there is a thread I will delete this one

Forget Excell. Nightmare for the average person. Accountants like it.
Keep things simple.

We just need someone to go in and collate all the dates & numbers in that thread so we can see who's got a bike close to theirs. :)

There is that map thing but I do not think it works.  I tend to live in different parts of the world according to that thing.

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I gave up on that map when I kept getting moved out into the Bering Sea.  It's really cold out there! ;D

I wonder if there's a way to connect a world map with the individual member profiles where we post our locations so it automatically updates when people move or join or quit.
