Hey all
Went to adjust the valves and sync the carbs. I went to do this as one valve was making all kinds of noise all of a sudden. All went well tell I went to take off the valve adjustment caps for the first time. Any hoot some one destroyed three of them and also some were down the line they also broke a vale adjustment screw grrr (some people should never be aloe to touch any tools). And ya know what it was the one making the noise could have drove a Mac truck threw the clearance of that one.
I kind of got things adjusted the best I can but not very good. Valves making all kinds of noise (to loose) and can not get to some of them as afraid I will break the caps even more. .
Dose any one have three or even a full set of vale adjustment caps?
How about one valve adjustment screw
This is all for a 1977 Honda cb750K
Do not have much cash but willing to pay a fair value also plus shipping

I got to get this thing running if I am going to have any hope of trying to make the run with ya all in June

As usual, I'm gonna suggest trying a Honda dealer. Those screws and nuts are common to quite a few engines and are probably still available.

I have a 78K engine sitting here with a broken stator cover and sprocket area. If those parts will work from it I'll be glad to pull and sell what you want if I don't have to yank the whole thing apart.

Thanks all for the offers and help.
Went to dealer and low and behold a guy walks up to me in the dealer. He must have over heard me asking for some cb 750 parts. He comes up to me and says do not order any thing I may have what you want (he seams to know the dealer) well out in his truck he has a 78 basket case he bought; it came with an extra motor. Well he up and gave me what I needed so cool. I also told him about this sight

So cost to me nada how cool is that.

O ya the guy got the bike in Oregon and were on his way to LA. said he was visiting and ran in to a deal he could not turn down so brought it home with him
