Yes, like that.. Nice clean stuff.. myself I prefer the Amen frames with the rake they came with, and a stock front end, Carlini raked his a bit further.

Frank, I've got a couple Saviors I need to put together. In your experience with those Amens originally built for Honda front ends, does the stock length front end sit the frame flat? Did Amen make various rakes or pretty much standardize them? Thanks. RR

Bikes are nice.  But I really dig the Studebaker!  Brings back memories.  First car was a 55 Silver Hawk.  Damn, what we didn't realize as kids.

Okay... Let not make this into a "car thread". We have other more appropriate places on the site than a chopper thread before we start down that road. Puhleese! Who the F--- on this site can afford collector cars anymore?   ???  RR

Think that the image on the tanks were a decal?  Most likely hand painted, but wow.

I think Denvers made the cleanest sleekest CB750 Choppers and Diggers:

RR as far as I know only 10deg + rake but they may have done special order other ones.
I ran mine at first with 8 overs, Then slid them up a bunch  with an RC header, it fits. I also ran Hooker headers 4-1 but had to extend the headpipes about 1.25 inches for collecter to clear. Once I got my turbo header.. aka high pipe, I cut the sidestand off and mounted it higher on a new gusset behind the lower rear motor mount.. then it was where I wanted it.. I like a bike I can push around and steer one-handed walking beside it.
The Denvers frames are clean, but the red one at the top is not, too much stretch up front with the rest compressed behind it.  But they are a long bike, not exactly a flickable nimble hotrod around town bike..

The Amen's were all the same rake as far as I know. You could get them in your choice of Honda or H-D necks. Here's some ads for them:

I happen to agree with Rookster. I have always have loved the looks of the gooseneck Denvers digger frames. The All Souls frames are nice. The Ness frames really stand out also.

All the Saviors were +10 degree over stock.  I've got a Savior for an Ironhead Sportster that needs a motor,  If you are looking for new springs, they are available.  You can use Paugcho 163A springs for the longer ones or you can order them from diamondwire.com: the uppers are DWC-192P-19 and the lowers are  DWC-192P-13.  You can also get new nuts for the Savior units, they are 1.1/8" x 12 tpi.  The decorative uppers are available on ebay and the thin nut for the bottom is available through McMaster Carr.  Lets see some pics of your saviors.

Thanks, guys.  All good info.

Fortunately I have all the necessary hardware including the Amen oil tanks and triples, so paying the prices that many suppliers want for Savior rear springs and parts isn't necessary.

I just don't happen to like overly extended forks on a chopper.  Four to six inches over, I can almost deal with. I guess I'll just throw an 8" over front end on one of the Saviors and slip it up until the frame sits like I want it to. Then I'll know for sure.

Frank, how much over are the forks on 1024's Savior? The don't look like more than +2" in the photos.

Unfortunately, right now Honda choppers are really back-burner fun projects for me; too many other higher priority projects competing for my limited time and money.  I do love the little lightweight little suckers, though!  Hopefully things will loosen up this year and I'll be able to play more.  Thanks again, chopper fans.  RR

1080 has  fairly short forks, but his sidestands are still hanging down... cut that off get a highpipe and you will have the look you want plus lots of clearance.

I got an Amen rigid in the shop right nows being fitted  with stock forks, gonna have to chop off the kickstand bracket.. it had about a 12 over springer when I picked it up..

Oops, I meant 1080, although at my age I could have said 1040! (Gawd, I hate the IRS!)

Thanks for the reply, Frank.  1080's Amen looks to me like it sits pretty flat, and I like my choppers to be kinda "drag bike" style - low and snarky.  I think the Savior can also look kinda short and stubby like a Top Fuel Altered, and that's the style I want to create - when I can finally get around to finished the witch! It almost reminds me of a Vincent. (Squint really hard and you can kinda, sorta see it.) Sometimes, I think the Savior sure would look great in all black with a Vincent-style gloss black girder front end!

1080's bike is definitely my inspiration, all the way to using the Amen prism tank that I have on the shelf awaiting the project.

From what I've seen, many Amen rigids seem to have a greater rake than the Savior, but I could definitely be wrong about that.  I frequently am...  :-[

Okay, back to the shop for me. Have a good one, and stay warm, Frank.
