HI EVERYONE

hi guys
my names dave and i live in the north west..
i've just recently aquired my boyhood dream bike a cb550/4 f1
although if you seen the state it's in,more like a nightmare :D
i love it an it aint turned a wheel for me yet
in the process of stripping her down as the frame needs big attention :-[
bit of a novice with the spanner  ???so i'm hopin theres a couple of big brain mechs who dont mind bein pesterd ;D

Welcome, post a pic of the bike, then keep us posted on progress.

Hello Davey, were abouts in the north west are you? i'm in Lancaster welcome to the forum and like Bob says post some photos of your bike & if you have any questions just ask theres plenty of knowledge here  ;) cheers Mick,

i live on the wirral bud,i'm not geared up for the photo's yet [techophobe]
but i do have a question for you..
guy i got bike off said he was gettin oil in a pot/s,took head off an noticed the oil jet tubes were missin
questions are would this make the oil in the pots issue and where can i get these oil jet tubes from...

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum, best place to ask questions about your bike is in sohc4 bikes section.
It's nice to have a new north westener to help swell the ranks, I'm in Warrington (in US at moment) on the Manchester side, hope you won't hold it against me :D :D :D We have another Dave in Scouse land with a 400, he might know things about the 550, I've only seen inside the head just this week. From what I've seen, oiling is essential.

Hiya matey. I've had several 550 Hondas in my time, so any time you need to ask a question, type away.
Have you been on the UK version of this site?
