Topic: Wiring Question - the 3 yellow wires between the stator and rec...

I'm rebuilding the connections between the stator and rectifier.

There are 3 yellow wires that go from the stator, thru the generator harness to an 8-pin connector, and to the Rec.

Does the orientation of these 3 wires matter?
That is, does a certain wire in the stator side have to go to a specific wire on the Rec side?
I'm guessing no since that's AC current, right?

because it is three phase  as long as they go to the leads for the yellow wires they will be fine

As the others have said, it doesn't matter. The rectifier is smart and can figure it out..
