Topic: cb750 76 new project starting

hi guys,

starting a new 76 project I just picked up...will start bothering you all soon



for the moment wanted to make sure which seat is the right one for a 76 model (vin 25xxxx) out of those 2 I can use...I do not recall any seat pan difference between 72 -76...correct? thanks

Looks like a nice solid foundation,survivor for a project. How many miles is the old ticker showing.? Is it currently running ? Curious as to what you have planned for its future,hopefully nothing involving a Sawz-All.

not planning and cut and paste :-) I always do my bikes as close to stock as possible, and trying to keep the old patina (no new parts...) - it is also an expenditure limiter...;-)

I managed to get it running and driving, but needs lots of electric work, aluminum cleaned and polished, new tires, rims are very rusty,...

and need to understand which is the correct seat cover pattern for the 76 model in the US..:-)

Where are you located at ? Are you in the US or abroad somewhere. Google 76 Cb 750 and enjoy the show and check out the seat patterns on all the pretty,and some ugly bikes out there----
