buying directly from sudco?
« on: January 26, 2012, 07:57:55 AM »
just need a bowl drain plug for my 29mm CR's from Sudco (sudco p/n 018-662, 24 in the drawing) but looking at their terms and conditions, they claim to deal only with shops and have a 25$ min order.....

any idea of how to get from them a small part fast?

or if you have a spare one, let me know :)

I bought my K4-K6 (F0-F1) handlebars from them directly. I bought my CR31's from Dynoman and since they were to come to him from Sudco they just drop shipped them directly to me. I did not have any problems ordering from them. Probably been 1+ years ago. I found them easy to work with even after questioning the bars with an incorrect listing in their catalogue.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

We are a major Sudcp supplier as well as one of their distributors.  It is not worth it to get a small part like that snd ship in overseas, however, if anyone has a normal order coming from APE, we can always get those kind of carb parts from them and include them.

Funny, Sudco's ad in Cafe Racer would make it seem like they are a retail op. However, it makes more sense to do business with a company like APE, seeing as they help support this site.
