NW AR Native

Checking in from NW Arkansas, recently came across a '72 CB500 deal I couldn't resist, so here I am, trying to learn all I can about them. I've put around 200 miles on it so far, it could use a little TLC, and that's what I intend to give it.

Do I know you? If not, we have a little group of us who ride here and work on our bikes.

I don't believe I have met anyone else with this type of bike. Mine is out of order at the moment, I really screwed up the ignition switch and awaiting a new one to arrive. On the old switch I was having trouble getting a key to work in it, took it off to see what the problem was and the small tumbler fingers all fell out. Such is life.

Welcome to the Forum, bandit1! The CB500 is a great bike! I put almost 2200 miles on my '72 this summer in the SOHC4 Relay Rally, all in about 1 week. We like to see pics. Be sure to post in the 500/550 registry thread.

Small world. I live in Lincoln and work north of Prairie Grove, big blue shop building west side of 62.
