does the kicker rub on the side cover when its retracted?i used the 500 straight one for that reason.

 Dave, it doesn't rub but it is very, very close to touching. If I'm not careful when putting it back in place, it could hit the side cover with more force than I like.
 The reason for the 550F kicker is that I'm running 400F footpegs/controls. You have to use the curved kicker with the 400F pegs.

ok cool,yeah mine fouled the side cover easily,,the old 500 one solved that,,its the thing with these,,"other folks may have different results"disclaimer,,just me,,but i still think it looks a bit odd,,,with the kicker a bit obscuring the cover,,like its broken?just my take on it,if the 500 kicker wont work then it wont work,i like the vertical look of the 500 kicker though.
