No... the 750 A's carbs are 24mm, the 750 K's are 28mm....so too small  :(
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

Spanner is correct. Oh and only 1 and 3 or is it 2 and 4 are available? Just get 2 of each number and flip 2 of them.

A lot of people forget that the A is a completely different beast in many ways. The F and K are too, but 90% of their parts are interchangeable. There is a reason the shop manual's last update was for 1977, and not 1978. By that time, the DOHC was in development, and it was more cost effective to have the 1978 models be the same as 1977.
1977 F2 "Highway Star"
1977 F2 "Bike-In-A-Box"
1978 K8 "Frankenbike"
1991 CRX Si "Buzz Bomb"
2000 Jeep Wrangler "UBoat"
2011 BMW S1000RR "TIE Fighter"

Thanks guys, that's what I thought.  Exactly which two numbers should I look for?

Let's see... ( a 1 and 2 ) x2  will work...... or
                  ( a 3 and 4 ) x2.  or
                   ( a 1 and 3 ) x2 or
                    ( a 2 and 4 ) x2...  :)

  But not   ( a 1 and 4 ) x2 or
                   ( a 2 and 3 ) x 2...  :(

Thanks man, looked in to it.  He said he's working on a new and more dependable compound.
