I vote specweld's little yellow 400. Saw this bike at the Ramsey sprint in the Isle of Man! Sounds bloody awesome, goes like a rocket, won its class easily and even bettered the 750cc class times.
She goes better than she looks and she looks magnificent. A credit to the owner/rider.

Thanks Graham!
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I think one "Clapper" is roughly equivalent to one "Stink" Larry, give or take a couple of "Buggaries"............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Right folks, round 2 in the battle of the pics, ie,' me versus technology'.
Little Laura (11 years old from next door) has joined the fray and has reset the digicam with less pixels and assures me they will now show but each one may have to be in a seperate post. ( her next assignment is the DVD timer)

all pics from 78, 79,80 Manx Grand Prix on the TT course , see if you can recognise the location on the course :)

There now, told you I would bore you didn't I, but all pics are one and the same bike, a bike which has given me soooo much pleasure over the years and is still doing so. ;D

One more pic, nothing to do with this topic but I found it amongst the others and thought it was worth showing.

Yamaha XT/TT500 power spinning the rear wheel exiting sulby bridge. (ho hum) ::)

Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to read this (without falling asleep) and thanks again for the nomination.

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Those 400's are sweet!!

So what is Anna all about? Anna has been a work in progress since day one and continues to be. She is on the MK III motor. Her original 500 is sitting under the bench and it still runs and there was a stock 550 in there for a time as well. I like having spares. In two and a half years of working on her my philosophy has always been she should only ever be off the road for maximum three days at a time. I've had every part off of the frame but never all at once :) I like to ride. I think I've put (if memory serves) about 10,000 miles on her in the last two years. With two 2000 mile trips a year. She has been built with speed and reliability in mind. I have been meaning to dyno her, the problem being when we get a non rainy day here I'd rather ride :)

Additions so far:
Dynoman 592cc 10.5:1 Pistons
650 Cam
Mild Head Port
Dyna Electronic Ignition
HD Cam Chain
Dyna 3ohm Coils
MAC 4-1
Terry's Billet Oil Cooler Adapter - Spin On BMW Filters
900f Oil Cooler
Harley Sportster Muffler, Baffle Deleted (I know, weird right? But it sounds great and the throttle response at  lower rpm's much better than the MAC muffler, smoother all round)

Shoria Battery
Acewell Electronic Tach
LED Turn Signals
LED Brake and Running Light

Nissin Master Cylinder
Dual Stock Front Brakes
Drilled Rotors (On my drill press)
SS Brake Lines

Works Rear Shocks
Cartridge Emulators
Avon Roadriders
Steering Damper
Tarozzi Fork Brace
Stock Swing Arm Braced
Tarozzi Rear Sets
Vortex Clip Ons

MV Agusta Fairing
Self Made Fairing Brackets
Rickman Commando Aluminium Tank
Removable Self Made Luggage Rack For Touring (My first Welding Project)

When I bought this bike it already had a set of clubmans, all I wanted to do was paint the tank and side covers silver (the tank needed work, some big dents) and ride it. Next thing I know I became obsessed with vintage GP bikes. I think this is called project creep....

The center stand is gone now, replaced with a race stand I built.

Braced Swing Arm and Hugger

Fitting the Fairing and Fabbing the Mounts

The thing that drives me nuts about this set of photos is when I was pushing her around the parking lot I tilted her seat back so it dosen't line up with the stripe...I feel bonkers every time I look at them ::)

Front turn signals tucked up beside the headlights.

At the end of this coming season 18" alloy rims front and back are the next project. Always something to do....
