Those 400's are sweet!!
So what is Anna all about? Anna has been a work in progress since day one and continues to be. She is on the MK III motor. Her original 500 is sitting under the bench and it still runs and there was a stock 550 in there for a time as well. I like having spares. In two and a half years of working on her my philosophy has always been she should only ever be off the road for maximum three days at a time. I've had every part off of the frame but never all at once
I like to ride. I think I've put (if memory serves) about 10,000 miles on her in the last two years. With two 2000 mile trips a year. She has been built with speed and reliability in mind. I have been meaning to dyno her, the problem being when we get a non rainy day here I'd rather ride

When I bought this bike it already had a set of clubmans, all I wanted to do was paint the tank and side covers silver (the tank needed work, some big dents) and ride it. Next thing I know I became obsessed with vintage GP bikes. I think this is called project creep....
The center stand is gone now, replaced with a race stand I built.
Braced Swing Arm and Hugger
Fitting the Fairing and Fabbing the Mounts
The thing that drives me nuts about this set of photos is when I was pushing her around the parking lot I tilted her seat back so it dosen't line up with the stripe...I feel bonkers every time I look at them
Front turn signals tucked up beside the headlights.
At the end of this coming season 18" alloy rims front and back are the next project. Always something to do....
