I said what I did because I'm in Afghanistan and won't be returning until mid-late may, and THEN I still have to put my bike back together.  I see what you're saying now about the lower states, so go ahead and pull my name off.

**le sigh** I missed 2011 packing for this damn deployment and now I'll miss 2012 for not being back in time.  Oh well.  2013 maybe?

We'll keep you signed up as an honorary rider, especially for your supporting efforts defending freedom! Many thanks for your service, and for Pete's sake keep your head down and return safe.  8)

The relay will double back a bit further north, depending on how far you're able to ride. Either way, we'll certainly reserve your spot for 2013!  ;)

Salute!

Relay Map reflects updated (proposed) dates:

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=101662.0

Turns out some of the dates were out of sequence, and I fixed the fact that ALL of the dates fell on WEDNESDAY...

All of the dates on the map now fall on Saturday, which meant backing up the dates by four days. Look it over and let me know what you think!

Dave - Madison Wisconsin
Rode across the entire state last year (Milwaukee - Madison - Minnesota), So hopefully this year I can take through the entire state.

Hey zan, how long did you do the ride for? I plan on doing the rally depending on the scheduled rally time and the baby due time...

How many people did the ride with you?

and last ?, have you done the Slimey crud run?

I did over 500 miles. (Madison to Milwaukee to Madison to just south of the twin cities and back to Madison). Two Days riding. It was myself and one other member each day. Just a short ride by myself to meet someone.

I've done the Slimey Crud Run for the past 3 years, Spring and Fall. It makes for an awesome day.

Last year Old Scrambler and a crew met up near the UP and rode south to Milwaukee. I believe they spent the night with Ken at Cycle X (awesome place to check out) before heading down to Milwaukee. I think there was a crew of 5 bikes on that leg.

It all depends on the timing and people's schedules. It'd be great if everyone could meet up and ride the whole thing.
