+1 on what Seanbarney said.

The pic I posted is of my Tarozzi rearsets installed...not the stock pegs.  They are designed with a bracket that bolts right on to your bike using the rear peg mount hole and one of the frame tubes.  It puts your new peg location just behind where your swingarm bolt goes through (as seen in my pic).  Installing them involves removing your old pegs, shift lever, and brake pedal.....and installing all the new bits.

Is this an easy installation? Do I need to order any other parts as well?? Or will the tarazzis come fully ready to install?

I don't recall there being any installation instructions....just a parts diagram showing how they go together.  If you are good at putting things together and working on bikes/cars, you can probably figure it out.  Probably the most difficult part was getting the brake linkage adjusted properly, but it wasn't necessarily hard to do.

Not going to bother reading the thread to see if it's been said already, but:

I got a set of CB500 Tarozzi rearsets from FastFromThePast. They'll fit 74-76 CB550Ks. Not sure about 77-78 or 550F though, might not have the passenger peg brackets the 74-76 K does.

FFTP also has amazing customer service, and rectified the couple issues I had. Very prompt responses via email, and even the shipping was outstanding, especially considering it was to Hawaii.

I highly recommend them and their products.

Curious if anyone knows if any 550 sets will work with the kick starter? What about using a 550F kicker?

I've got the Tarozzi sets on my 1971 CB500. The only issue I had with them was that the metal shift rod would bind up on my case so I couldn't downshift. I sent a photo of it to Jim at Fast From the Past and he sent me a new offset piece at no extra charge.

I haven't found a kick starter arm that works with them yet, though. Everything I've read says to bend the stock arm until it clears the brake pedal but the ones that I've seen that do that just look a bit hokey.

I doubt that the 550f would clear the rearsets. The problem (at least on my 500) is that, when turned out, the kicker hits the brake pedal about an inch in from the end.

 Still no kicker clearance?

What if the brake pedal end folded?

I know there have been a few guys that just carry an allen wrench with them to take the brake pedal off if they need to use the kicker. That seems the simplest workaround.

I got Tarozzis from FFTP on my my 550F after a bit of customization. Had to build a kickstart to clear everything, but it all works.
I missed what model your 550 was, but take a look at my rough thread if you want to get an idea of what I did.
Long story short, welded mounting plates by passenger pegs. Lengthen splined brake piece (and shortened bottom tube on frame), and shortened inside spline piece to clear swing arm and accept hard line from rear drum.
