blown fuse
« on: January 21, 2012, 07:15:48 PM »
hey guys looking for some help. I have a 1976 CB550 that my dad bought brand new ,he has since signed it over to me .I have put around 5000 flawless miles on in until last summer I started with an electrical issue . while riding the bike the main fuse would get very hot to the point the fuse block started to melt and of course the fuse would blow . Any input on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!

Clean off the connectors. Also, you may want to invest in HondaMans fuse box. I had the same problem with my 550 as you are having. Havent had it since I bought it.
