adjust the cam chain tensioner?

how do you adjust the cam chain tensioner?  I know the adjustment is right under the carbs and I'm pretty sure i understand it but I want to make sure.

Pull up # 1 cylinder to top dead center then Loosen the nut and screw.  Then retighten them and you should be good to go!

I found it in a Cleymer manual and it said to put it at 15 degrees befor #1TDC is that right?

 I didn't when I did mine, however if it says you should then I would go by that.

Definitely check the FAQ's and if you don't have any luck re-post but include the model and year as different SOHC's have different adjusting procedures (or atleast that is what I have read in previous posts).
