FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

I will probably leave it like it is and just use very good throttle control
one thing about Bills bike is that it took a little while for the turbo to spool up and
even then it wasn't a big hit..............just a steady (But Hard ) pull on the bars

will see

How about getting the rear brake to hold against 3,500 RPM for now Jerry. That and get the front brake right. ;) ;)

Nothing special, is a standard GS(X)1100 swing. But can be made to fit but is a hell longer than OEM, even longer than F2. Forget about cornering.
Better sorry for failing then for the lack of trying.

Way over priced anyway Jim, the 1986,7,8 gsxr1100 swingarms are a direct bolt in and are around 6 inches longer, they would be good if you are drag racing this bike...

By golly, I think Mick hit it on the head! Nothing an extra 6" hurt especially when the boost comes on down the quarter :D

Doesn't sound like this fella really know his ass though.....

Jim,

Don't buy that GS arm. I've got a stock length one i will give you. Stock GS arm is longer than a stock Honda arm. You just need to buy the correct eye to eye shocks- i don't have any of those. You need shorter shocks anyway to lower the bike.

Thanks Frank and I might look in to this when I get over to your shop to help with the programing on the ignition.
The bike is back over at my shop for some much needed modifications
first the CR seat has to go. Too uncomfortable for any amount of riding so I am modifying the rear sub frame for
a larger seat but still keep the cafe look.
also put on the carbon fiber covers and front finder (It needs to be modified to sit lower to the tire
Also gong to use the Daytona oil temp gauge but the sensor and adapter go where the stock drain plug
thus the tub of oil under the bike

Jim

Carbon goodies

rear sub frame mods

.875 solid steel inserts

slip on the old section with the Ignition box

and there you go

I got these when we are all in Valdosta for the races
they are copied or reproduced after the stock parts and fit up very nice
I think Jerry R told me about these first and then went to look for them
I thought I had a card with me but its in one of my tool boxes
They do cafe sets as well as fenders and might start doing fuel tanks too
all of this cost me $300.00 bucks

And they are nothing but quality! The gentleman that makes those did so for his son's 750 I believe plus he got the bug and got one too. Price is really good IMO for carbon fiber of that quality. Told him we need side covers and airboxes too. He seemed interested in that idea.

Jim, I found a couple 'cards' but I'm not sure which is which. I'm thinking it's MontgomeryMotorsports.net. The site doesn't show CB750 when I 'searched' but 'carbon' showed the Busa stuff as well as his adjustable carbon fiber kick stand.

Time for another parts supplier campaign I'm thinking. Now that the site is tagged we need to show interest. I gave him our site info but we need to convince him to get onboard with us. Email time. Gotta go!

OK, I'm back. Just sent a message. OK everyone, show your interest and just pester the #$%* outta him  ;) ;D Just be SOHC4 nice  :)
