Hi Bill, Have you seen this ?   a little while ago one of the forum members posted a beautifull bike agent orange or something and he had the side covers done in the carbon look, I fell in love with it and brought some  as posted above.  It is amazing how it pulls into every nook and cranny with the ol hair dryer treatment. easy to do mate and I cant tell the difference until you weigh and twist it .

Cheers Johno

All of the Mods are done and its on the trailer back to Davids so he can finish the wiring harness
cut and extended the rear sub frame for the new seat
made some mounting locations to use quick release tabs
lots of support under the seat also
put in some steering stops to keep the clip ons for dinging the tank
moved the tank back 2 inches to keep it off the exhaust side of the turbo (Heat and gas don't mix)
new front break lines
installed the new oil temp system (Daytona)
new covers (Ignition and clutch)
more to follow

Nice work brother. You'll have that ready for the spring which is good as the weather will be cooler which is always better for the break in. I have to call you about some stuff. ;)

Jim, that looks much more 'accommodating'.

Looking at Preacher's schtick has anyone figured out how he obtained/achieved 926cc in a RC Cobra engine?

The more I sit on the bike the more I might put some slots in  the flange and move it away
from my foot, although when I cranked it, the exhaust went out at a 45 degrees from the motor
but it is close and will have to address this soon.
or move the rear sets either way

just little things left

Jim

Not sure about bike of the month Bill but its turning in to a black red black type of paint job
thats going to be similar to this F1 car

Just what front end, wheel and brake combo do you have on this turbo beast. It looks very sanitary and effective.
