Some how I don't think the words "small" and "Jim French" can be used in the same sentence. Kind of like "hair" and "Sam Green".

More parts arived today from Mike Riecks house of speed

the cyclinder studs, cam, all of the O rings, as well as o rings to rebuild the oil pump
heavy duty cylinder nuts, studs, washers and all hardwear. For some reasone both Mike and I
didnt order a heavy duty cam chain but its on its way also
there is ALOT going in to the build and if the cam chain is the only thing that we forgot then I just
need to be quite and not worry about it

I just put in my new/used maple top bench (96inchs long and 36 inches wide) with tooling cabenets today
(gota like it when big corporations decide to throw stuff away) and your good friends with the head engineers,
I thought I would lay out about 75% of my turbo project

The cases, crank and rods are all being fitted for bearings and the bearings will soon be sent out for coatings
the case studs have been installed to Mikes recommended  height off of the case.
just waiting on the bearings and we can start to build the bottom end

some pictrues

lots of storage room in those cabinets

The top end cam towers with pivot shafts (the rockers and adjusters are going to be replaced with new components.
clutch baskets barnett springs and stock fiber plates and steel plates are all new. (Need to go and pick these up)

the MSD ignition and Sams line lock and button

and I am going to be using a MSD MC-4 system to control all of the ignition
the wires that you see just hanging are for the boost sensor with will detect boost (Obviously)
and then retard the timing to keep the motor happy and in one piece

more to follow

There's something beautiful about having your engine apart and all laid out nicely; appreciating your internals since you won't see them again once the engine's together (provided all goes well!).  I love this stage of any build.

being a tool maker I do know a good tooling cabinet and these are really good
there rated for 75LBs per drawer. I was lucky that when the engineer called I could get out
there before these where gone too

The motor spread is a little icing on the cake

I like the build but i love that cabinet. Umm, as to twisting the throttle down the 1320, we'll let Bill be the first crash test dummy and i'll be the spare-lol. Do i see a looooooooooooooooong swingarm in the future??????

no long swing arm frank
We will see how much throttle control you guys have
we can start at 5lbs of boost and work up until someone sees the clouds
or the back end brakes loose

Sam my wife said the same thing about that blind
it will be fixed before dinner tonight and will report back

Not turbo related but I came home from Virgina today to a very happy wife
as her favorite premiership team Manchester City have won the premier championships after
a 40 plus year wait. All in the last 4 mins of extra time as they where down 2-1 going in to the 90th min
of play
My daughter called me and thought she was going to have to take her to the hospital

GO MAN CITY

Thanks Sam for all the support
