I have begun to polish various bits before reassembly ::)

I decided upon the rough cast finish for the yoke and caliper to a mirror finish.

Scotch brite will take those sanding scratches out of the sprocket cover and still leave it with a faux brushed finish. I use it for the final finish on fork legs to try and get it back to the factory look.

I decided in the end to have the frame, swing arm and ancilleries powder coated.

First start-up since the engine was reunited with the frame.

Hi Rob, looks really good, but didn't you forget to cut off all the useful tabs that make your frame a rigid, functional performer, only to realize six months later that they would have to be welded back on, before powder coating? :) :P
If it works good, it looks good...
