Google Checkout will contact you with the payment invoice and they will explain you the payment procedure.

They are spoofing Google checkout. It will look like Google checkout, but it's not.  :(

Ah, of course.  That's not something, much like the whole scam, that I'd never fall for so I didn't think of that.
Seems almost too obvious but if there's people who believe that they can get the bike for that price they must be pretty ignorant about other things as well. ::)

Funnier things have happened. I knew a guy in Sydney that was a motorcycle racer and mechanic, he turns up at his brothers workshop in a late model high end Mercedes, it was in a similar advertisement as this one, he got it for $500 dollars {it was worth $120,000}, he was the only guy that replied to the ad, turns out that the woman he bought it from was selling her stuff after a divorce settlement, she was the rich one, so instead of selling everything at market value, and giving him a percentage, she was basically giving everything away dirt cheap so the scorned husband got virtually nothing....True story, i used to work for his brother.... ;D  ;D

Should have dragged it out a while longer before reporting her ad, I'm sure there was still some fun to be had there! Do you not have any BMW dealers in Georgia? It says it was maintained at Bob's BMW, which is in Laurel,Md., why would someone go from Ga. to MD. to pay stealership prices on maintenance?

Yes we have BMW dealers here and I did check for the one she said was here, but it isn't. Yeah, I should have dragged it out longer, next time I will!

That is the same scam as the one for the V Max I posted here a while back. she had an answer for every question I could come up with. she was working with unicef and wanted to donate the money from a quick sale. It was in multiple cities because she wanted to move it quick. she used E bay for payment even though the ad was in craigs list.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

Thanks Don for posting this. I haven't heard from her and I'm feeling a little hurt, time to go fishing for the next scam I guess. Stay tuned because you know there are a lot out there!

Heard a story a while back about an internet group that sends the Nigerian scammers around to different villages (a lot of times in other tribe's towns and territory) to screw with them. It was pretty funny when the one scammer said he used all his money to get to a town in an enemy tribe's territory and he was begging the guy here to send the money to the Western Union there- he thought he might be killed.

Karma, it can be a beiotch at times.  ;)
