Topic: Anyone know the font in the Super Sport Logo

Can some one tell me the name of the font used on 74/75 400F Super Sport tank logo?  Thanks!

32 point SOHC Bold Serif? Not to be confused with 550 Nighthawk Bold Italic. Be advised that the blue 550F used a different color drop shadow than either of the oranges, and after 75 the tank decals were a dot-matrix as opposed to halftones.
 Haha. Just kidding and talking out of my butt trumpet. I'm also curious to hear a serious answer to this question, as well as the font of the 550 tank badges. My 550F isn't badged as a Honda, and I'd like to keep perpetuating the mystery.

99 times out of a hundred, most fonts used on side covers & tanks are hand drawn.  They can be based on a particular font - but there will be differences that are unique to the badge.

If you take what you have to a good graphic place they can scan it and make whatever you want, but I do not know the font name...Larry

you could take a picture of it with the iPhone and use an app called "WhatTheFOnt". It might give you something close. BUt yeah, it's probably very custom font.
