Recent Results of SOHC Sales
« on: January 26, 2012, 08:37:13 am »
After going through the thread regarding the mint '76 400f, I suppose I'm kind of shocked at what the value of some of the nice original, and restored SOHC4 bikes are.

I'm always interested in what good examples of our old bikes are worth, so I thought I'd create a thread where people can post up some links to auctions of these bikes, so that we can track what some of the selling prices are. If you've recently purchased a bike, and are comfortable with divulging some info, feel free to post up a picture of the bike as well with what you paid.

First one I'll add is this '75 cb400f. Restored in the mid 90's and has sat since, currently at $3,800 with 7 bids, and the reserve isn't yet met.

(If there is already a similar thread going, I won't be offended if this gets deleted)

I won't delete this thread, but here's a recent one discussing the same topic:

Why dont we call it,"     Recent Results of SOHC Sales"

But think about this.. if you find a gem in the wild and are making a deal... if the seller searches and finds the thread... you are gonna be sorry...

That's why I said if you're comfortable divulging the info  ;D

I would imagine that most people that buy their bikes for a couple cents on the dollar probably won't mention anything.

That being said, I totally missed that other thread that Gordon posted...sorry about that.
