From Detroit to Kalamazoo it's, 209 km,130 miles......The Gilmore Car Museum is north of there on M-43 'bout 15 miles.

Thanks for the metric conversion  ;) It is easier when I get across the border in a way (bike is old & in MPH) but my mind thinks KPH for the last 25+ years, hey, guess I'm bilingual!  I'll keep the show in mind & see where Godzilla's route takes him for 2012, outside possibility we could combine both?  Where are my buddys, Tripps & Wohali, are you up for a road trip to MI?? (maybe I can make it with you guys this time  :D)

Hey, Brooze...........just for fun I looked at Mapquest and got directions for Pedestrian, to avoid superhighways like I-94 http://www.mapquest.com/directions#a35be4245e47c8ebf5e5f770
it says it takes 51 hours to walk from Detroit to the Gilmore Car Museum, but if you wanted to ride the back roads (maybe a couple of dirt roads) this would be a Memory In Making.
I noticed the road coming out of the Detroit area was Territorial Rd., so named because it was the path the pioneers took when heading out of Detroit, to the "Territories"  (History Lesson) ;)
