Sorry, i missed this part of your post. To post pics you must use the "reply" button on the thread. Below the text box you will see:

"Attachments and other options" = click this and it will show you the topics under it.

Attach: __________________________________ browse (Clear Attachment)

(more attachments)
Allowed file types: txt, doc, pdf, jpg, gif, mpg, png, kmz, xls
Restrictions: 50 per post, maximum total size 2048KB, maximum individual size 1024KB

Where it says "browse" you can go into your personal files and select the picture you want to post. By selecting "more attachments", it will allow you to post more pictures.

With 1200 posts i wouldn't think you're to new to computers-lol. I'm still trying to figure out while i had the initial problems with posting my own pictures but my buddy Bill came to the rescue. I think maybe i was trying to post too many at one time.

More pics to come- in the shop working all day today. Stay tuned- lol.

Maybe try to post something simple now while you have the general concept. That way when you get into documenting a build, you'll have it all figured out.

there she is sitting Pretty...Love you're Nos plumbing

are those 2 round little blue cylinders(Nos) just behind the where the carbs will go on either end of the carb rack...are they the Nos feed regulators ??

Yeap,
Fuel solenoid on the right, nitrous solenoid on the left looking towards the front of the bike. Behind the nitrous solenoid is the purge solenoid and then the line to the blue bottle. Horepower in a bottle.

Finished fabricating the chain guard and got it installed.

Time to get back to the motor. Valve cover, clutch cover, oil pump and oil pan ready for installation. Oil pump and oil pan on first followed by the exhaust pipe.

Looking good Frank! I removed the swingarm from my racebike yesterday, bare frame on the floor, engine is waiting for parts and 10 weeks to the first race.

When does the Season begin for you ? Do you have a Launch date?...looks like you'll be able to "hook up" Soon.

Sounds like you've been busy to Juha. Those 10 weeks will count down fast.

Our season was supposed to begin this past weekend but due to heavy rain and high winds, they postponed it. I wasn't going to race this bike then anyway. We have one this weekend coming up. I hope to get it completed so i can at least make some test and tune passes. I do plan to run the bike the following weekend in the MIROCK series at Rockingham in the Crazy 8's class which is the primary class i built the bike to run.

Thats all of that set. Hopefully more to come tonight. Time to get the valve cover on and work out some multi stage lockup clutch installation issues. Tinkered with making up the new braided steel brakes lines last night but have to get a few fittings today to complete the job. Need to push the rear wheel forward a bit and cut my chain to the right length.

Still lots of work to do but its coming along. I can at least see some porgress now that the motor is on the chassis.

Hahaha. Thanks Jim but i intend to ride it hard and put it up wet. Hoping for more function over form since its a race only bike. But hey, even if i don't win, at least the bike will look good loosing. LOL. Be sure to at least go to the Schnitz racing website and check out that Pro Series II ignition controller. You can download the manual and read it later. I might just work for the turbo application. Thats what most of the dragbike guys use for turbos as well as nitrous and normally aspirated bikes.

Hey Bill,
I'm shooting for the range of my F model in the 60'. mid 1.40's to low 1.50's. When i was riding the Honda regularly i was low to mid 1.40's. When you get used to dumping a clutch on a dragbike from the 2 step with wide open throttle knowing there's a wheelie bar behind to save you, you become timid in releasing the clutch lever on a no bar bike. It'll take time but my ultimate goal is high 1.30' s. I feel thats a doabl goal with the multi stage lock up clutch i'm putting in the bike. I was in the shop just now trying to deterrmine how best to set the static, intermediate and final lock up pressures. I've never owned a multi stage myself so this is going to be learning process and i will likely sacrifice several sets of clutches to the CLUTCH GODS before i get the set up tuned correctly. Trial and error is the only way in many cases. I don't want to run through the clutches and burn them up or allow the stages to come in to quickly and cause me to check the weather forecast. I went to college to study civil engineering , not meteorology-lol. If the final two stages don't lock up properly, as the nitrous starts to build down track, i will either smoke the clutches or the bike will try to wheelie. The progressive nitrous controller will smooth a lot of the hard hit of the spray out. The mph will definitely be affected without full lockup. To run the 8.88 index with the lack of a really aggressive 60' and leaning on the nitrous down track to hone in on the numbers, my guess is the mph should be in the range of 148-150 or so.
