I have a excellent set of KZ (LTD)cast mags wheels. the extended swingarm(dragarm) the valve shims and I may have some stock lights. Most of the other stuff went with the sale of the bike!! (KERKER EXHAUST)

Here's the pics of the swingarm, The guy I got it from had it built for his DRAGGER KZ and he was going to build mounts for solid struts. From pivot point to axle is about 30 inches even though the tape shows 31. All three wheels are ENKEI cast 2 18" for rear and 1 19 for the front. The wheels will need new bearings installed, I have the cush drive rubbers but NOT the sprocket carrier. These wheels could be used on other bikes with a little machine work!! AWESOME wheels for someone to use on a CAFE project!!!

Thats actually my bike. Bill was nice enough to post pics of the work in progress for me because i was not having any success myself at putting them on this thread.

Its a KZ based motor. Mk2 crank, undercut tranny, 1325cc - 13.5:1 wiseco pistons(80mm), Star Racing big block, Ported KZ head with 38.5mm intake and 31mm exhaust valves, Web 136/122 cams-.480/.460 lift.

Will post pics of the bike with all the body pieces on it once i finish installing everything on the motor i just put in the chassis last night. Need to install carbs, pipe, and oil pump with pan. If all goes well i'll fire her up tomorrow night.

Yes, its a KZ 1000 chassis. I built the motor from some spare parts i had but upgraded the head with a bit more port work to match the bigger intake valves. The blue manifolds you see on the intake side of the head are nitrous manifolds. I plan to spray the bike just enough to run the Crazy8's class in the MIROCK series. Its an 8.88 index in the quarter mile. The bike has to be self starting, have street tires and a head light and tail light. I converted the chassis to a mono shock set up using an extended GSXR 750 swingarm with a Busa shock. I did this to be able to better tune the rear suspension to lower my 60' times. Also using a 17" rear rim and tire because its impossible to find a soft compound 18" rear street tire that hooks. There are numerous brands of 17" tires on the market now suitable for maximum traction for dragracing. The wheel base is around 70". The ignition controller is a Schnitz Pro Series 2 unit. It not only controls the ignition but it is also a progressive nitrous controller. It has functions such as ignition retard on start up which is important for a high compression motor like this one, it also can be programmed to retard timing with an initial setting and various progressive ramps which are critical features for nitrous usage or turbochargers. The box can also be used to autoshift the bike in almost any fashion you want like preset rpm. It has a low and high side rev limiter, shift light output. It has an output for connection into a datalogger. It has a self diagnostics feature also that can test certain functions and even give specific error messages. This box is sweet- it will do everything for you except guide the bike.

The whole motor and bike combination are new so i have no clue exactly where the power band will be. I'm hoping for more low to mid range power normally aspirated based on the way i set it up. That way, when i do use the nitrous, it will be for the upper range of the rpm band when the motor would normally fall off. I had the bigger valves installed so i can get more top end potential.

The big block and pistons are from my wife's dragbike after i upgraded her motor to a 1425. The head was given to me by a friend and then i had the larger intake valves install- it already had some port work and oversize stainless valves. The Mk2 crank is one i collected over the years and the tranny is one i got off Ebay and had undercut by my local machinist. The cams came out of the 1425 on my small tire Kaw dragbike. They've been sitting on a shelf since i removed them to install larger Cam Motion cams. Normally i would have used a .485/.465 Cammotion combination in motor this size. The cases were from an old street bike that my cousin gave me over 15 years ago. Other parts and pieces to assemble the motor where from engines i had torn down over time and stacked in the shop. I did buy a new Vance and Hines sidewinder for the bike. I have a set of used but refreshened 40mm Lectron carbs in the closet i intend to use on the bike. Not really sure how much i've put in this project so far but its far less than i would have spent in purchasing a new model sportbike to run the 8.88 index class. I just can't ride this one on the street since i set it up with a total loss electrical system. I seldon street ride these days anyway- to dang dangerous.

I'll be sure to post more pics soon if my computer will let me. I sent Bellcow some to post of the chassis but i see he never put them up.

Strange that someone on this forum said a BIKE wouldn't do 0 to 60mph in 2.5 sec. They said you had to have a 1000HP to launch that fast
HP+ weight ratio is what counts.. I'd love to watch that thing run, around here in the south we have 1/8 mile tracks,that would blast a short track!!

Juha, seems serious to you because you're used to the 16 valve Zuks. You don't need more than .420 lift to get the same thing done. We only have 8 big valves to move the air in and out. Have to open them higher and longer. Kaws make a lot of bottom end torque, Zuks make top end horsepower.

Makes sense, my bike has .380" lift, still a fairly mild engine by all means.
11:1 compression JE pistons so far, now upgrading to 13,5:1 and cams with more duration.

, I'm new to trying to post pictures on the forum, how do You do it ?? I like the "bubbles" custom paint job & Nice looking work on the electrics in you're headlight and the rear Monoshock frame work.Did you also Rake the front a bit? or is it just the way the angle of the bike looks w/ the front propped up ?

The front end is raked slightly on the bike. It was once set up with wheelie bars and strutted arm. I originally put a stock extended arm on the bike with the stock dual shocks but found limitations in suspension quickly so thats the reason i went to a more tunable mono shock set up. It also allowed me to install a wider rim to accommodate the 17" tire. There are no sticky compound street 18" tires. Bike wouldn't hook on the extended stock arm and the 18"street tire i had.

My 05' ZX10 Kaw street bike could be considered my favorite street bike but for racing my old reliable SOHC CB 750F is my go to bike. Not the fastest/quickest, but certainly the most fun.
