Spark plug socket ?
« on: January 28, 2012, 12:18:04 AM »
Is the honda tool the same for the cb750k and for the 750a?  I am needing to buy one and wondering if one that is listed for a 750a/gl1100 would work on my 71 750k?

I would think that the 750A uses the same size plugs as the regular 750.  Regardless, you don't really need to spend a lot of money on a specific Honda spark plug tool.  You can get a generic one at any bike shop for a few bucks, and it will look virtually the same and do the same job as the original Honda tool kit plug wrench.  You can also use a thin-walled 18mm deep socket.

I've got one of these

and it's fantastic.  Works great on the CB750, no need for extensions.
