CB750 69-70 Fork overall length?
« on: January 02, 2018, 10:09:41 PM »
Hey guys i have something brewing with my 71 CB450 I know the 450 shares many front end parts with the 750 but I want to double check fork tube length I *think* it shares the same length fork legs with the early 750's but id like to confirm before i go and order any parts.

Im just looking for a measurement from axle centerline to the top of the fork tube with no weight on the front end if someone could help me out that would be great!

Thanks, Chris

The 70 first year of discs on 450 shares most of the fork and wheel parts with the 750, with the exception of the steel fork tubes, they are about 20mm shorter. Springs I am not sure on.
Short answer the 450 is shorter.. I assume same scenario for 71 bikes.
