Hi my name is Hector AKA supermex
I have 3 bikes
99 V-max

75 CB500

and my lates aquisition:
76 CB750

I got this bike from a collector with over 150 bikes different models and styles.
The 750 have beein in storage for over 10 years and only have 17 k miles on it all parts are there with the exception of one side cover and a mirror.
Right now I just finish with the basic services carbs , cleaning tank adjust clutch.
It has a few bugs I need to work out before I can ride her on a daily bases.
I found this site while browsing thru the internet and found it very usefull.
I'm looking forward to gather ans share my new experience.
Can wait to get my 750 to the level I want.
I'm not new to cutumizing I worked on Honda cars and was featue in Honda tuning among other magazines.

Moving to work on bikes was just the next most logical step for me.
Went back to school at 47 and garduated from MMI school of motorcycle technology

This is me:

Welcome, Hector.  How do you like the 500T?  I always liked those-a fairly smooth twin with a fair amount of power that made a good short range commuter.  What are you plans for the 750?-looks like a good candidate for a stock resto.  If you don't know most all the manuals are downloadable on this site...Larry

thanks for the warm welcome, seems like I'll make new friends soon.
Larry the 500 is smooth and fuel efficient, no changes made to that.
The 750 I bouight it to make a cafe racer but you are right most original parts are rthere and it would be a shame to take it apart.
I'm conflicted about that.
I may just do performance changes and keep it original for the most part.
i like the clubman handelbars look and the cafe seat.
But I kmow my seld once I get going don't see a stoping point.
We'll see.

It would be a shame to cafe it, but if you do make sure it can go back to stock easily.  Keep us posted...Larry
