CB750 Headlight bucket interchangeability
« on: January 30, 2012, 05:35:09 PM »
Are the headlight buckets interchangeable?  I have a k1 that came with a later headlight bucket but it's cracked and wanted to get a replacement.  Are they all the same, just the color being different on the early cb750's?

I am not positive but I believe the bucket is the same for K1-K6.  I think the PN is the same.
The F bikes had a different bucket.

F buckets are more shallow - hence the "junction box" for the extra wires that won't fit.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

chrome and black at DSS.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
