DOHC Carbs on a SOHC Bike?

Can this happen or what? An early SOHC is what I'm thinking. Feel free to publicly flog me if this happens to be a completely idiotic question.

I've got a set in a box Trouty, but the carb spacing is different than those on your bike. CV carbs would work Ok, but they don't flow as efficiently as slide carbs, so the only real advantage that I can determine would be a lighter throttle. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
