We've been copping it here as well Dave with the monsoon trough right over us.
It hasn't been too bad yesterday and today but it'll be back.

Our Sausage Dog (Charlie) hates the thunder.
He hides behind the curtains shaking and growling trying to scare it off.
It's funny watching him but I feel for the poor bugga.
He wants nothing to with it.
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

We are sick of the rain out here Dave, it has been like this for nearly the last two months. Landcruiser has had it's gearbox/transfer case oil change weekly because of water  >:( We have had close on 22 inches of rain and 5 floods at the farm in that time.

We had a  German Sheppard that had the same problem. Vet prescribed doggie downs for her. I think an asprin mellows them right out, too.

Uh,no.Sorry.

We get monsoon troughs here and some times the rain fall can be extreme, did you see the floods here last year, most of that rain fell in a 24 hour period and in Toowoomba's case, in a couple of hours..... :o

definitely not, but 52" (132cm) average per year is a fair amount.
doesn't rain hard or flash flood here, its just consistently crappy out from October to July.
what am i saying....the bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle  ;D

How strange,
as here in the Northeast USA we are having an almost total lack of snowstorms.
