When I got ready to rebuild my forks, I saw that one tube/pipe was unusable. So I ordered a replacement off ebay. Well, I needed a right fork, but for some reason, I ended up buying a left fork (I think at the time, I knew I was getting a left fork and planned on swapping over the bottom, but it's been nearly a month since I ordered it and I can't remember).
I just finished polishing the fork bottom and replacing the seal and oil. After putting them next to each other, I realized that they were both the same. Am I able to use the forks as they are? I'm using a single caliper setup, and won't be using a fender. If I HAVE to though, I can pull the bottom off my bad fork (the bottom is still good) and swap everything over, but I'd prefer not to have to take out my brand new oil seal and everything.
